MEET ELIZABETH

Founder & Principal Consultant

Elizabeth travels globally to visit schools and programs, offering a broad perspective for her clients. From her vast knowledge, she equips families with the tools and resources for identifying a range of educational possibilities for their child. Whether working to ensure a successful transition from a public school to a private school, or navigating the educational resources available, Elizabeth is known for her innate ability to sincerely understand the needs of both parents and students.

Based on her own experiences as a mother of three children with distinctly different learning styles, Elizabeth has a deep understanding of how each child learns differently. She places significant importance on finding an educational environment that is congruent with a family’s values and, most importantly, increases their child’s academic success and confidence. With this compassionate yet strategic approach, Elizabeth supports her clients by providing enlightened educational solutions for their child.

For more than thirty years, Elizabeth has been active in the secondary school world, beginning as an alumni volunteer for Northfield Mount Hermon School.  Elizabeth served on Northfield Mount Hermon’s Board of Trustees, their Enrollment Committee, and the Head of School Search Committee. In addition, Elizabeth volunteered for two years in the Admissions Office at Carroll School, gaining invaluable private school admissions experience early in her educational consulting career.

Elizabeth holds an Ed.M. from Boston University’s School of Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Gettysburg College and is a proud graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School.  Elizabeth is an active Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and is a past Chair of the IECA Schools Committee. She holds membership in the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs, the International Dyslexia Association, the Small Boarding School Association, the Council for Learning Disabilities and the Enrollment Management Association.  Elizabeth is also certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and is a Certified Coach Practitioner.  Previously she served on the Board of Directors for the Wellesley Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity (METCO).
