If your student is interested in a school, there’s no escaping an interview!

To help your student get over the anxious pre-interview jitters, we’ve laid out some of the questions students can expect to be asked during their session with the school admission team.

On the surface, school interviews can be intimidating for students. But in reality, they are a great opportunity for them to learn as much about a school as possible.

For some students, it’s still terribly anxiety-provoking, and we strive to minimize the anxiety! We’ve found that acronyms are a terrific way to help students feel comfortable. We like to frame their conversation using our ACE acronym: Academics, Community and Extracurriculars (ACE). Encourage your student to ACE their interview by sharing about themselves AND asking questions about the school in each of these ACE areas!

It’s likely that school interviews are the first time your student has had a formal interview!
