You’re in the Right Place
I help busy families make confident boarding school decisions through thoughtful guidance, trusted relationships, and a highly personalized approach.
Hall Educational Resources was built on professional insight, lived parenting experience, and a commitment to helping bright students find schools where they truly belong and will flourish!
This work began at my kitchen table in our very first house…
As a parent of three children with very different learning profiles, I spent years advocating, questioning, and trying to make sense of systems that too often misunderstood my children. I remember my daughter with dyslexia coming home from school in tears after being placed at the front of the classroom and asked to read aloud—again. The “solution” offered was to take away her recess so she could receive extra reading support, as though less play and more pressure would somehow make things better. I remember the sting of those days, and how deeply they stayed with her, and with me.
I was also repeatedly told that my son needed reading comprehension support, despite his scores landing in the 95th percentile. The disconnect between the data and the narrative was confusing and frustrating, and it forced me to ask harder questions about how schools interpret, label, and respond to students who don’t fit a neat mold. These moments still stay with me, not because they define my children, but because they revealed how easily bright, capable kids can be misunderstood.
Over time, I found myself becoming a guide for other parents—helping them slow down, ask better questions, and see their children more clearly amid the noise. That work eventually led me into educational consulting, where I discovered a calling in bringing calm, perspective, and thoughtful strategy to families navigating complex decisions.
As Hall Educational Resources has grown, my approach has remained the same. I work with a limited number of families so I can truly understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and potential—and advocate with care, honesty, and integrity. My role isn’t simply to help families choose a school. It’s to help them feel confident that their child is being seen, understood, and joining a school community where they can truly thrive.
Does This Sound Like You?
I work with families who:
Are juggling demanding lives, wearing many hats, and need a calm, trusted expert to help navigate the admissions process
Have bright, college-bound children who don’t fit neatly into a one-size-fits-all box
Want a school environment that offers challenge and rigor without a pressure cooker, supporting academic growth and well-being
Are looking for a community where their child will be known, understood, and valued for who they are, not just how they perform
Are navigating nuanced learning profiles, including learning differences, executive functioning challenges, or uneven strengths
Are exploring boarding schools in New England and beyond and want more than rankings, glossy brochures or the cocktail circuit chatter
Want a high-touch, collaborative partnership rather than a high-volume consulting model
Value honest candor, transparency, and ethics, and want to work with a specialist trusted by admissions teams
Have aspiring collegiate athletes and want expert guidance that honors both athletic goals and academic growth
